My animation of the Basic Shag Steps
The Slot I have made a diagram of "the slot". The slot is the area between the dancers. Males move out of the slot, into the traveling lane out of their partners way, so the female can travel down the slot unobstructed. Notice the rectangle borders. The dancers should try to stay in their area, so they do not interfere with other dancers around them. It is important to travel wall to wall. |
